徳島県徳島市国府町で1966年に創業。初代・喜多岩夫、二代・喜多啓司、三代・喜多一至へと、三代にわたり木工技術を継承する。岩夫は2008年に「現代の名工」、2018年に黄綬褒章を受章。家具や木工品の製作を通して培った精度と構造への理解を基盤に、素材、造形、手仕事の可能性を見つめ直し、現代の暮らしと空間に応える木のプロダクトを制作している。

Founded in 1966 in Kokufu, Tokushima, Japan, KITACRAFT is a three-generation woodworking studio. Its craftsmanship has been passed down from founder Iwao Kita to Keiji Kita and Kazushi Kita. In 2008, Iwao Kita was recognized by the Japanese government as a Contemporary Master Craftsman, and in 2018 he was awarded the Medal with Yellow Ribbon.

Rooted in the precision and structural knowledge developed through furniture making and fine woodworking, KITACRAFT creates contemporary wooden objects that explore the relationships between material, form, craftsmanship, and the people who use them.
